RunTime Recruitment was founded by Lance Harvie, a specialist engineering recruiter with over 28 years placing embedded, firmware, FPGA, and electronics engineers across Australia and the USA.
The business was built on a simple belief: that most engineering recruitment fails not because of a lack of candidates, but because of a lack of real technical understanding on the part of the recruiter. Generalist agencies cannot spot the difference between a keyword match and a competent engineer. RunTime was built to fix that.
Our team is made up of engineers turned recruiters. We interrogate competence rather than skim resumes. We pressure test candidates against the real constraints of your system before we put them in front of you. And we push back on briefs when expectations are unrealistic, because a bad brief produces a bad hire, regardless of how good the recruiter is.
The result is a 97% candidate retention rate. Not because we are lucky, but because we say no more than yes.
