RunTime is engineering-led recruitment for companies building real products.

We specialise in embedded systems, firmware, FPGA and electronics, with selected work across controls, robotics and other closely related engineering disciplines.

We work across Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Our job is not to send more CVs.

We start by understanding what you are actually building, what the engineer needs to own and what technical depth the role genuinely requires.

Then we assess candidates beyond the keywords. What they built, what they personally owned, what broke, how they debugged it and how much of the system they really understood.

We also challenge briefs when the scope, salary or expectations do not make sense.

The goal is simple: fewer candidates, stronger technical signal and better hiring decisions.
