As an engineer myself, I encountered firsthand the disconnect between my skills and the way recruiters attempted to represent me to employers. Conversations were often riddled with misinterpretations, oversimplifications, or a complete lack of understanding of what my experience meant in a real-world engineering environment.
It was a wake-up call. How could engineers find the right opportunities when recruiters didn’t speak their language?
