Senior Frontend Engineer (Fleet Platform)

We're working with an innovative technology company building a connected mobility platform that combines cloud software, hardware systems, and financial services into a unified ecosystem.

They're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead development of the web applications that power fleet operations, diagnostics, customer management, reporting, and administrative workflows.

You'll work closely with backend, embedded, and product teams to create intuitive user experiences while helping shape the technical direction of a platform being built from the ground up.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and develop modern web applications using React and TypeScript
• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and real-time services
• Develop dashboards and operational tools used by internal teams and customers
• Help define frontend architecture, standards, and best practices
• Support mobile application initiatives where required
• Contribute to testing, performance optimization, and application reliability
• Work alongside hardware and embedded teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Participate in product discussions and technical decision-making

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills
• Extensive experience with React and modern frontend frameworks
• Experience building production-grade web applications
• Strong understanding of API integrations and frontend architecture
• Experience working in cloud-connected environments
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and modern CI/CD workflows
• Ability to work independently and thrive in startup environments
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite in California
• US work authorization required

Nice to Have

• React Native or mobile development experience
• WebSockets, real-time applications, or telemetry systems
• Experience working with IoT or connected products
• Fleet management, logistics, or operational platform experience
• Startup or early-stage product development experience
