They're looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer who can confidently produce high-quality Powercor designs while ensuring every project meets strict compliance and quality standards.

About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of Powercor design and quality assurance activities across a range of electrical distribution projects.
You'll be responsible for preparing compliant designs, reviewing technical documentation, mentoring engineers where required, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest engineering standards.
Engineers who can consistently achieve three or fewer Powercor design non-conformances during QA reviews are highly sought after and will be rewarded accordingly.
What You'll Do
- Prepare Powercor-compliant electrical designs for distribution network projects
- Perform detailed QA reviews of electrical designs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Powercor requirements, Victorian standards, and industry regulations
- Review design packages for technical accuracy, constructability, and compliance
- Perform electrical calculations and technical assessments
- Identify design risks and recommend practical engineering solutions
- Work closely with engineers, designers, clients, and utility stakeholders
- Support project delivery by meeting key milestones and deadlines
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers where required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices
What You'll Need
- Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical engineering within Victorian utility projects
- Strong experience producing Powercor electrical designs
- Demonstrated experience conducting Powercor QA reviews
- Excellent understanding of Victorian electrical distribution standards
- Experience across underground and overhead electrical distribution projects
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and relevant engineering design software
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills
- Electrical Engineering degree (preferred)
- Current Victorian Driver's Licence
