About the Role
We're looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for advanced electronic products. You'll collaborate with hardware and software engineers to build reliable, high-performance embedded systems from concept through to deployment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop embedded software using C/C++
- Develop software for real-time and resource-constrained embedded systems
- Work closely with hardware engineers on system integration
- Debug, test, and optimise embedded applications for performance and reliability
- Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Contribute to software architecture, documentation, and continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Commercial experience developing embedded software
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Experience with Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, or bare-metal development
- Experience using debugging tools, version control (Git), and embedded development environments
- Exposure to hardware-software integration
Highly Regarded
- Experience with Linux device drivers
- Yocto or PetaLinux experience
- Python scripting
- Experience with SoC or FPGA platforms such as Xilinx Zynq
