Question by Faizuddin M: As far as Post Graduation is concerned is Embedded systems a good option or power electronics?
I am a BTech grad in EEE. I am eligible for for both of the above mentioned courses. My friends argue that Embedded systems is good , as far as getting a job is concerned. Can someone let me know the subject dealt with in Embedded Systems? And does one need to be good in programming to be sucessful in this field?

I’m an undergrad in compute engineering and I’ve looked into this time after time for years and believe embedded systems is more satisfying (to me). Programming is a must in both, but source code and assemble and such in embedding is dominant.

Question by Paul B: What are the duties of a embedded hardware engineer?
I’m going into my third year of college and I am really looking into the field of embedded systems. I’ve taken Java(in h.s.) and C programming; I don’t mind programming, but I rather do hardware, or a combination of both. So with that being said, can someone tell me what are the duties of a embedded hardware engineer?

I think at this point you must give all your attention on your study and practices then you will automatically get what type of duties you have to perform in future.
